Painting Exercises and Fun Sketches

A collection of rough sketches, paintings, explorations and more. I like to explore different styles, how detailed can I get with something or how simplified. I love experimenting in different styles and color palettes literally just for joy. So much of what I've tried to do over the last 20 years has been about work that would get me a job or make me more marketable and while art will always be something pleasing for me, a lot of the pressure to create overwhelmed the joy of pure creation itself. You could kind of call this my "free time" zone where the process is less about production and more therapeutic. I think we all need more time to "play" to see what else lies inside us.
